Sunday 19th April Road run, East Cornwall including Golitha Falls as the assembly point, a tour of
Colliford Lake and lunch at St Breward Inn, concluding at Cornwall at War Museum Davidstow

Depart Blue Anchor car park  9:30am.                        |        From the A38 westbound take a right
Proceed up the A30 to the A38 exit,                           |        turn at Dobwalls or at Doublebois
turning left for Bodmin DCL museum.                        |        signposted Golitha Falls,
At the monument, turn right to rear of museum.          |                
Second pick up point. ETA & Departure: 10:00am      |
                                                              
Proceed out to the A38 Liskeard road, passing            
Trago Mills on the right, take a left turn                         
signposted  Golitha Falls.                                        

Follow road to Redgate with a left turn to Golitha Falls. At Redgate turn left over a small bridge and park in
the car park on the right.
ETA at Golitha Falls, assembly point for east Cornwall: 10:30am.

Depart Golitha Falls 10:45am.    Return over the bridge, turning left to continue on the road through Redgate
and then following the road along the river Fowey to Bolventor.

Bolventor: turn left (Toilets are available at Jamaica Inn if required) and then left again to head down the east
side of Colliford Lake,  a stop can be made at the dam before continuing up the west side of the lake to the
A30.
(Ensure no left turns are made towards St Neot rather than following the contour of the lake.)

Join the A30 westbound for a short distance before turning off left to Temple (immediately before a bridge
over the dual carriageway) to avoid a right turn in the right hand lane of the A30.  Pass though the small
hamlet of Temple, a single track road, turning right at next junction to meet the A30.

Vehicles can cross the A30 at this point, one at a time, heading to St Breward. (Note, any escort riders should
not attempt to stop the 70mph A30 traffic!!)

Follow the signposted moorland road towards St Breward, when leaving the moor and entering farmland for
the first time, turn right on a left hand bend into the small hamlet of Bradford, a “no through road.”  Park on
solid ground 200yds other side of the bridge.

Depart Bradford 12:15 turning right onto the original road to St Breward, requires only one signposted  right
turn on the direct moorland route.
St Breward Inn can be seen located next to the Church.  ETA 12:30
Pre-booked Carvery is available in the resturant, if sufficient numbers they will open a room for us.

Depart St Breward Inn approximately 3:00pm, (Members from the west may wish to split away and return via
the B3266 Camelford  to Bodmin road, or return to the A30.)

Continue the moorland road to RAF Davidstow Moor, maybe a quick hello to Steve & Sheila if they are
around, please do not park on the soft grass.  Return to Bolventor via Alternun and Fivelanes.

Take the Jamaica Inn and Museum exit into Bolventor.  The next turning required is directly opposite Jamaica
Inn car park which passes down the east side of Colliford Lake. Pick up a left turn signposted St Neot at
Whitebarrow Downs.

Following this road for approximately 3 ½ - 4 miles, turn right at a crossroads signposted St Neot at
Wenmouth Cross. Continue for ¾ mile into St Neot, turning left by the church.
Continue on this road passing the entrance to the Carnglaze Caverns and out to the A38.
